Compliance Officer (Part-time)

East Meadow, NY

Reporting to the NQP Executive Committee (Board) and the Executive Director, the Compliance Officer must plan and execute compliance and operational reviews/internal audits, manage external payer audits and make recommendations for improvements to processes, systems and controls that ensure compliance with payer medical and reimbursement requirements consistent with the NYS DSRIP Specifications and Reporting manual. The CO manages the planning, design and maintenance of the DSRIP compliance programs, management reporting, compliance education and training program, and compliance policies and procedures. Provides effective guidance regarding matters of compliance and ethical business practices. Investigates and resolves compliance issues, including hotline call investigations and audit and monitoring processes directly related to NQP compliance issues. Responsible for advising the Board in regulatory compliance, maintaining the effectiveness of the Compliance Program and serving as a key resource for Medicaid reimbursement information.

DSRIP Health Care Policy Project Manager

East Meadow, NY

As the DSRIP Health Care Policy Project Manager, you will be an essential member to the Nassau Queens Performing Provider System (NQP) DSRIP Project Management Office (PMO). You will be responsible for developing program and policies that support NQP’s initiatives, assuring that all policies and program descriptions, as assigned, meet “minimum required standards as defined by the DSRIP program, as well as managing assigned projects to improve health care quality for the Medicaid population as outlined in NYS DSRIP.

You will coordinate plans for DSRIP projects across the three participating health systems (i.e., Hubs): Nassau University Medical Center, Northwell Health's Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and Catholic Health Services of Long Island including their partners, when applicable.

DSRIP Intern

East Meadow, NY

The intern, will be an essential member of the Nassau Queens Performing Provider System (NQP) DSRIP Project Management Office (PMO), and will be responsible for supporting the project management team by assisting project managers with coordinating day-to-day project activities and operations of one or more DSRIP projects to improve health care quality for the Medicaid population as outlined in NYS DSRIP. The incumbent will participate and support the project planning, tracking, monitoring and coordinating of DSRIP projects across the three participating health systems (i.e., Hubs): Nassau University Medical Center, NorthWell - Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and Catholic Health Services of Long Island including their partners, when applicable.
